Apple has restored its streaming platforms — including Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade — following a brief but widespread outage late Thursday. The disruption affected tens of thousands of users, particularly in the U.S. and Canada, and coincided with the premiere of the highly anticipated sci-fi series Pluribus CNA Tech Times.
According to Apple’s official status page and outage tracker Downdetector, reports of service issues peaked at nearly 15,000 complaints before rapidly declining to just over 200 as the company resolved the problem within roughly 90 minutes CNA Tech Times.
The outage was especially notable given its timing — Pluribus, created by Breaking Bad’s Vince Gilligan, had just debuted as a flagship Apple TV+ exclusive. Fans eager to stream the first episodes were met with errors, prompting swift action from Apple’s technical teams Tech Times Invezz.
All services are now fully operational, with Apple confirming the resolution on its system status dashboard.
