Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has announced that the company is experiencing “very strong demand” for its newly launched Blackwell chips, designed to power next-generation artificial intelligence systems. Speaking at a TSMC-hosted event in Taiwan, Huang emphasized the importance of Nvidia’s partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in scaling production to meet global demand.
The Blackwell platform integrates GPUs, CPUs, networking components, and switches, making it one of the most complex and powerful chip architectures Nvidia has ever developed. Huang credited TSMC’s wafer supply and manufacturing capabilities for enabling Nvidia to deliver these advanced processors at scale.
“TSMC is doing a very good job supporting us on wafers,” Huang said. “The demand for Blackwell is very strong.”
He also addressed questions about potential exports to China, stating that there are “no active discussions” due to ongoing U.S. export restrictions on advanced semiconductor technologies.
