Senator Ned Nwoko and Nollywood actress Regina Daniels have reignited their long-standing marital feud, trading serious accusations involving drug abuse, manipulation, and the arrest of family members. The public fallout, which resurfaced in late October 2025, has intensified with both parties posting detailed statements and videos on social media.
Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, alleged that Regina battled drug addiction, which he claims was worsened by her siblings — particularly her brother Sammy Daniels, whom he accused of introducing her to illegal substances and sabotaging her rehabilitation. He also claimed to have spent over ₦125 million supporting Regina’s family, including paying for Sammy’s university education and housing.
“Lawrence and Sammy were the ones who first introduced and supplied these drugs,” Nwoko wrote on X, adding that Sammy repeatedly harassed his children and domestic staff Channels Television Information Nigeria.
In response, Regina Daniels admitted to past drug use but accused Nwoko of enabling and exploiting her addiction, stating that he used her personal struggles to manipulate public perception. She also claimed their marriage was never legally formalized, and that she would have filed for divorce long ago if it had been.
