Business mogul and philanthropist Femi Otedola has pledged a massive ₦4 billion to Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, for the construction of a new Electrical and Electronics Engineering block. The donation was announced during the university’s 7th Convocation Ceremony on October 30, 2025, and represents the second phase of the Dame Doja Otedola Faculty of Engineering, named in honor of his mother.
Otedola, who serves as the Chancellor of Augustine University, emphasized the transformative power of education in his remarks:
