Police Fix December 3-4 to Celebrate Women in Policing

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced that it will host a two-day celebration from December 3 to 4, 2025, in honour of women officers — both currently serving and retired — marking 70 years of female participation in policing since the first enlistment in 1955. (PRNigeria News)

In a statement issued by the Force’s Public Relations Officer, Kayode Egbetokun, Inspector-General of Police, praised female officers as “pillars of integrity, empathy and excellence” and emphasised their indispensable role across administration, investigations and tactical operations.
