Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to begin his defence in the terrorism case filed against him by the Federal Government no later than Wednesday. The directive follows delays caused by the absence of his case file, which his former legal team has yet to release. The prosecution previously closed its case after presenting five witnesses, and Kanu’s team is expected to file a no-case submission.
