President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his re-election as Governor of Anambra State, calling the outcome a “vote of confidence” in Soludo’s leadership and reform agenda. Tinubu pledged full support from the Federal Government to help Anambra achieve its development goals.
In a statement released by the Presidency, Tinubu commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting what he described as a free, fair, and peaceful election, reinforcing public trust in Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
“Governor Soludo’s re-election reflects the will of the people and the strength of our democracy,” Tinubu said.
Soludo won with a commanding 73% of the vote, sweeping all 21 local government areas and 320 out of 326 wards. His victory has been widely praised as a model for electoral transparency and civic engagement.
