Nigerian music star Zlatan Ibile has publicly denied a widely shared online post suggesting he stated his partner, Davita Lamai, is “not his wife”, calling the circulating message fake .
A Snapchat conversation trended online yesterday, 27th of January 2026, where Zlatan Ibile alleged that his partner Davita Lamai is not his wife but the mother of his kids known as his babymama.

As result of several backlash , zlatan went public to debunk the false narrative on his X account , formerly known as Twitter , stating the narrative pushed out was false.
In his denial, the singer criticised people who share unverified content without confirming its origin, calling out the spread of misleading information online.
