Nigerian Army troops under Operation MESA have foiled a bandits’ incursion into Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State. The operation led to the death of 19 bandits and the recovery of weapons and motorcycles. Two soldiers and one vigilante were also killed in the crossfire.
